Hi Vicky and Brad, welcome to your own Enduring Domain project page! Consider this to be like a digital scrapbook where I can communicate ideas with you in a dynamic format, available online 24 hours a day. I'll post newest items at the top.

Final concept plan, section, animation, and 3D images all posted below!

Floor Plan options

I have proposed 3 different variations of a floor plan, which can be more or less interchangeable with the style of the 3D exteriors Option A and B below.

I have shown a wheelchair accessible ramp to the deck level. This shows how long it would need to be if the floor structure was positioned the minimum 150mm above ground level in the situation where no termite management system is required.

Option A

This option uses a 3m roof pitching height, and the roof itself is a separate module which would be installed onsite. It comprises of a scissor truss with an outer pitch of 30 degrees and an inner ceiling pitch of 20 degrees in order to create a more spacious interior volume and also provides for a ventilated roof space. The deck and verandah are assembled onsite.

The floor structure is 240mm deep, giving a total module dimension of 3240mm high, 12000mm long and 4500mm wide (excluding roof and verandah).

The large window faces north and will be shaded in the summer by the deep recess. The verandah will shade the western windows up until late summer afternoon.

Option B

This option has a 2.7m roof pitching height with a flat ceiling and a 9.5 degree maximum roof pitch. The verandah is assembled on site and is made to appear integrated with the main roof structure.

The house module and roof can be prefabricated as one unit with total dimensions of 3900mm high, 12000mm long and 4500mm wide.

The large window faces north and will be shaded in the summer by the deep recess. The verandah will shade the western windows up until late summer afternoon.
